Peter E. Fenton Reveals Cover Of New Book The Burnt, Talks Love & Romance, And Reveals The Importance Of Partnership

First of all, welcome to the many new readers who signed up at the Love & Romance in Toronto event. My monthly newsletter (weekly in the weeks leading up to a new release) is intended to share the latest news, as well as offer a behind-the-scenes look at my writing process. I hope you enjoy the newsletter. And if you ever find your inbox is too full, you can always unsubscribe through the tab at the bottom…but I hope you will stick around.

Every spring, I get excited as I move toward the release of my next book. I can’t wait to share the latest installment in The Declan Hunt Mysteries with you. The Burnt continues the evolving relationship between Declan Hunt and Charlie Watts, along with another mystery filled with twists and turns. And as you can see, cover artist Erin Dameron-Hill has come up with another stunning cover. If you are interested in pre-ordering the e-pub version of the book, you can do so by clicking here. The paperback will be available for pre-order in July.

While some of you were at the Love & Romance in Toronto event last weekend, many readers were a bit too far away to attend. As you can see by the photo above, it was a busy day as four hundred romance readers spent a day meeting with their favourite authors and getting their books signed. I was kept busy all day long, met tons of readers and other authors, and enjoyed the fantastic organization of the event.

One of the secrets to continuing to write in the romance/mystery field is having a supportive partner. I am lucky that Scott is not only my first reader, first content editor, and social media marketing guru, but also a loving partner at home. He helps to make attending events like the Love & Romance in Toronto day possible. While the details in my books about relationship may be fictional, after 24 years together, our partnership has given me lots of relationship topics to draw from. And it may interest readers to know that Scott and I are the same age apart as Declan Hunt and Charlie Watts…twelve years.

My next signing event will be at the Northern Rainbow Readers & Writers conference in Toronto. If you’ve never been to an event like this, now is the time. Tickets range from $20 to attend the general day as a reader, up to author packages that include two days of workshops, meet and greets, meals and the signing day for only $300. And up until May 31st, if you use code LOVE10 when you purchase your ticket, you can save 10%. To find out more about attending this event in August, click here.
